The Shrine Circus

The 2010 Edmonton Shrine Circus will be unique, featuring camels, elephants, tigers and even orangutangs, not to mention clowns, high wire & trapeze acts. The difference, this year, is that the circus is combining the forces of Michael Hackenberger, owner of the world renowned Bowmanville, Ontario Zoo, with those of Louis Lenard, owner of Quebec’s equally well known Cirque Estival. Barry Gogal, Circus Chairman, says “I’ve personally seen this spectacular show, and we are extremely fortunate to have them come to Edmonton for their first and only venture in the West”.

And of course, it’s not a day at the circus without popcorn and cotton candy.
