Treasure Island - Family Day Adventure










Plan a Family Day adventure and escape from winter in our green and glorious pyramids. Treasure Island with a tropical flair awaits the entire family. Enjoy the sounds of the Hawaiian Treasures – a steel guitar and ukulele band and their hula dancers. Spend time getting up close and personal with some creatures from the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Hands-on activities include pirate games, tropical crafts, card-making, a planting activity, face-painting and a caricature artist.

Event Details

* Listen to the sounds of the Hawaiian Treasures - enjoy the beautiful music of Hawaii   and more. Performances at 1, 2 & 3 p.m.
* Kids can get their hands dirty planting their own tropical plant to take home
* Have your Treasure Island character drawn by artist Laurel Hawkswell
* Meet some of the creatures from the Edmonton Valley Zoo
* Have your face painted by the artists from the Purple Team
* Play pirate games like: “Where’s me eye ball?”, “Treasure dig” and “Preparing for battle“
* Craft your own parrot and butterflies
* Make a gift card

Visit the Feature Pyramid and take in Love at First Sight, a profusion of colour in a romantic setting filled with azalea, cineraria, primula and cyclamen
